Photon inc: Laser M2 Measurement Tool
| BFi OPTiLAS, Pan-European partner of Ophir / Photon laser measurement group, is glad to announce the NanoModeScan M2 Laser Beam Propagation Analyzer. NanoModeScan enables the quantitative measurement and viewing of high power CO2 laser beams. The system is easy to setup and align; the straight line of sight design means little or no attenuation is required. NanoModeScan is also fast; an M2 measurement can be made in as little as 20 seconds. In addition, the system reports beam waist diameter and location, divergence, and the beam's Rayleigh range for each axis. The NanoModeScan's ease of use and fast update rate (up to 20Hz) make it ideal for CO2 laser-based material processing, machining, and marking applications where laser performance needs to be adjusted in real-time. The NanoModeScan's software controlled variable scan speed allows the measurement of both CW and kHz pulsed lasers, covering the entire wavelength range from UV to FIR. |

Precision Photonics Innovative Low GVD Polarizing Solutions
| Those polarizing beam splitter have been specifically designed for broadband femtosecond applications requiring high extinction and low dispersion. By utilizing a low dispersion coating design within an epoxy-free, fused silica prism assembly, this unique laser component is ideal for all Ti:Sapphire lasers used within the 700-1100 nm wavelength region. Like our other standard prism polarizers, surface quality will be 20-10 or better with transmitted wavefront < λ/10 and a clear aperture > 10 mm. Low loss IBS BBAR coatings will be provided on the input and output faces. |

BFi OPTiLAS also offers dielectric coatings offering unique benefit over commonly used Metal mirrors for general-purpose broadband high reflectors which drawbacks include susceptibility to laser damage, mechanical abrasions and surface degradation. BFi OPTiLASs broadband dielectric coating covers a wide range or wavelengths (350-1100 nm) with >99% reflectivity, independent of both angle and polarization. The high-energy ion-beam-sputtering (IBS) process results in durable, dense dielectric films that have superior reflective and mechanical properties in addition to being easy to clean, scratch resistant and insensitive to environmental changes. With high damage thresholds (>5J/cm²) and low absorption, they are ideal for frequency doubled and tripled Nd:YAG lasers, fiber lasers and broadband or tunable laser applications. |

Manlight: 1550nm Miniaturized Pulsed Fiber Laser
| BFi OPTiLAS, pan-European partner of Manlight, is introducing a new version of the well known MENTAD 1550 nm pulsed fiber laser. | |
|---|---|
| Some new technical development have led to high performance in terms of power (1.2 W) and energy (up to 40 µJ) as well as extended temperature range (- 35°c to + 65°c) and LVDS triggering capabilities. Extremely compact (90 x 70 x 15 mm), the device provides pulse duration from 500 ps to 1.25 µs adjustable pulse width is also available with a near diffraction limited beam (M² < 1.1). The MENTAD product is low cost, low consumption, easy to operate, maintenance-free and is ideal for a number of application including Lidar, telemetry and range finding. |

OPHIR:Shock Absorber for Laser Power/Energy Sensors
| The Shock Absorber is the industry's first mounting post designed to allow the operation of sensitive pyroelectric laser power/energy sensors in an environment with vibration. This special mount smoothes out vibration and eliminates false triggering, reducing the sensor's susceptibility to vibration from 2 to 10 times. Pyroelectric energy sensors are sensitive to acoustic signals as well as thermal. The Shock Absorber is the first device in the industry to eliminate false signals and leave intact the sensitivity to good signals. This provides more accurate measurement of low energy pulsed lasers, which are often operating in noisy environments. The Shock Absorber mounting post works with all Ophir energy sensors, including the PE Series of pyroelectric detectors that provide the highest damage threshold, highest pulse energies, and widest spectral range in the industry. |

Precision Photonics: New Line of Polarizing Beam Splitters
| BFi OPTiLAS, pan-European partner of Precision Photonics Corporation (PPC), is proud to announce a new line of super broadband, high energy polarizers for visible to near-infrared applications. Like our selection of laser-line polarizing beamsplitter cubes and beam combiners, these components utilize PPCs advanced ion-beam-sputtering (IBS) coatings and Telcordia-qualified CADB® epoxy-free bonding technique to provide unique, low-loss optical components that are thermally stable and suitable for high power Nd:YAG and fiber laser applications where fluences are greater than 500 mJ/cm2 and calcite or cemented cube polarizers cannot be used. This super broadband polarizer maintains a > 500:1 extinction ratio throughout the entire Visible to Near-Infrared (400-1100nm) without sacrificing overall transmission (Tp > 92%) or damage threshold (> 10J/cm2!). These fused silica beam splitters are available with a standard ½ x ½ input face, and custom prism polarizer assemblies will be available in sizes from 1mm to > 25mm.
